Don Pollard

CEO, Portfolio Manager 

Mr. Pollard is the CEO of CVP with over thirty years of experience in Leveraged Finance and Stressed/Distressed Debt. Previously the Head of the Credit Suisse Credit Investments Group ("CIG"), overseeing its $17 billion of High Yield Bond, Leveraged Loan, CLO, and Distressed Debt investment portfolios. Prior to managing CIG, Mr. Pollard was the Co-Head of Credit Suisse's Global Leveraged Finance Group, which included Credit Suisse’s High Yield Bond, Leveraged Loan and Distressed Debt businesses. Mr. Pollard served on the Management Committees for both Credit Suisse’s Securities Division (Fixed Income and Equities) and for Credit Suisse’s Asset Management Division. Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Pollard was the Co-Founder and Head of DLJ’s Leveraged Loan Group and Distressed Debt Group, and Head of European Loan Trading and Distressed Debt at Citicorp Securities. Mr. Pollard is a CFA and the former Chairman of the Loan Syndication and Trading Association (“LSTA”). Mr. Pollard received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and is currently on the Advisory Board to the University’s College of Literature, Science and Arts.

 
 

Tom Klamka

Investment Manager, Senior Analyst

Mr. Klamka has over thirty years of experience in leveraged finance and distressed debt. Prior to joining CVP, Mr. Klamka was a Senior Managing Director and the head of leveraged finance desk research at Guggenheim Securities and a co-head of research at Lutetium Capital, a credit hedge fund manager. Previously, Mr. Klamka was with the Leveraged Finance Group at DLJ and Credit Suisse for 16 years, most recently as the head of High Yield research. During that time, Mr. Klamka was consistently ranked in the top 3 of all HY analysts in the annual Institutional Investor industry analyst survey. Prior to joining DLJ, Mr. Klamka was with Prudential Insurance in the Private Placements and Restructuring groups. Mr. Klamka has a BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.

 
 

Neel Doshi

Investment Manager, Senior Analyst

Mr. Doshi has over twenty-five years of experience in leveraged finance and distressed debt. Prior to joining CVP, Mr. Doshi was a Managing Director of Distressed Debt research at UBS Securities. Previously, Mr. Doshi was a Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance Group at DLJ and Credit Suisse for 12 years, focusing on Stressed and Distressed Loans. Mr. Doshi received his B.A. in Economics magna cum laude from Dartmouth College.

 
 

Rob Kennedy

Senior Analyst

Mr. Kennedy has over thirteen years of financial services experience. Prior to CVP, Mr. Kennedy worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at Greenwich Associates. He is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder. Mr. Kennedy received his B.A. in History from Trinity College, MSc in Finance from the Cass Business School and MSc in Management, Organisations, and Governance with Merit from the London school of Economics and Political Science.

 
 

Joseph Matteo

Portfolio Manager, Business Development

Mr. Matteo has over 30 years of Investment Management and Leveraged Credit experience. Mr. Matteo  was the CLO Portfolio Manager for CVP and then for MacKay Shields (a wholly owned subsidiary of NY Life Insurance Company). Mr. Matteo was previously a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), serving the last six years as the Portfolio Manager for Leveraged Loans in the Global High Yield Bond and Bank Debt Group, responsible for CLOs and mutual funds.  Prior to joining MLIM in 1997, Mr. Matteo spent ten years at The Bank of New York. Mr. Matteo received his B.A. from The College of William & Mary in Virginia and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

 
 

Lindsey Norman

COO

Ms. Norman has over thirteen years of Investment Management experience. Prior to joining CVP, Ms. Lindsey Norman was a Client Services/Investor Relations associate at Fairholme Capital Management. Ms. Norman received her B.A. in Entrepreneurship and minor in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
